Cultured freshwater pearls are humanity’s work at duplicating what nature first started. A ‘seed’ (typically a round bead made of mother of pearl) is inserted into the freshwater mollusk. After three years, a pearl is then harvested.

If an item is labelled "gold plated" that means the piece is solid 925 sterling silver with 14 or 18 carat electroplating. If an item is labelled "gold" the item is a solid 9ct gold piece. Please refer to our Care Page to learn how to best to take care of your products.
